Next up for The Dance, 808 State‘s founder Graham Massey joins us for a super special extended DJ set on Friday 2nd December!
Formed in Manchester in 1988 by Massey, 808 State’s first album Newbuild is now regarded as a milestone in UK electronica. Quadrastate followed this and included Pacific State which became an end of night anthem at the Haçienda.
His career as a producer, engineer and remixer is a who’s who of some of the greatest artists to grace our ears; Björk, David Bowie, Soundgarden, Goldfrapp, New Order and Tom Jones. In short, the man knows how to bring the party!
