WREN

WREN is the artist alias for UK songwriter Kieran Newell. Stemming from the seaside town of Margate, WREN takes great inspiration from the 90’s Britpop scene, whilst providing a modern twist.

Shortly after the release of his first single ‘Too Many People’ in 2019, WREN had a two-night stint supporting Peter Doherty of The Libertines, shortly followed by a support slot for James as part of their ‘All The Colours of You’ UK tour in 2021.

With new music on the horizon, WREN looks to cover new ground with his songwriting – adapting his traditional anthemic sound to be more ‘raw’.
