We’re celebrating Summer in style with Thanet’s rock heroes Meister! And with support from more supreme local talent in the form of Art Deco, and Kieran Newell’s new project WREN.

A seriously entertaining night in store. Ultra Summer vibes!

Kent based trio Meister have been best described as a combination of rock alternative, with a slide of pop and funk. From lead singer Luke’s rock-tinged guitar playing, to Meil’s funky slapping bass stamp, with that ever so flawless crack of Rob’s snare drum. And, of course, the enormous voice from Luke… the icing on the cake.

Art Deco are an indie rock band based in Margate. The band made their way onto the airwaves with ‘Jangly Tune About That Bird.’ The song was featured on BBC Introducing in May of 2018, only 2 weeks after forming… The lads have gone on to support Scouting for Girls, Professor Green, Catherine McGrath and Mullally as well as making their return to the BBC for a live session on BBC Radio Kent.

WREN is UK songwriter Kieran Newell’s newest musical venture. After years of being a ghost writer for other artists, Kieran decided to adopt the name ‘WREN’ as his own and use it as a platform to release his own music in his own right. Taking inspiration from Damon Albarn with Gorillaz, WREN combines his traditional indie rock style with other genres by working with artists and producers from other backgrounds, such as Hip-Hop, Grime and Reggae.
