After an absolutely epic party last November (what a night!!!), we’re back!
Seriously hyped about this one – we’ve pulled together another belter of a lineup that sticks a big ol’ finger up at commercial clubland, celebrating the real talent and proper dance floor crew!
Blasting off at 9pm, expect a genre defying journey through bass and time, accelerating from 130- 140bpm and hitting warp speed at 180+.
Headlining we have Private Caller, a massively talented producer who flawlessly blends the sounds of garage, breakbeat, hardcore, rave, grime and more. His tunes are bass heavy, dance floor bangers, fresh as you like but with a big nod to the old-school. Big-up! Bringing us 1.5 hours of his own productions, largely unreleased and writing new material to play on the night, we’re super grateful to book him at what looks like a pivotal moment in his career! Prepare for take off by checking out his epic production mix on the NRG CRU Soundcloud.
Our second booking is the brilliant, versatile and all round top DJ, Isora. A regular at parties such as Das Booty, Hardcore Energy and Super Sonic Booty Bangers, with radio shows on Threads, Ajaa Radio and more, she’ll be taking us on a journey around the solar system, firing up the rocket blasters as we reach top speed, flying through footwork/electro/jungle/hardcore, closing the night and keeping us space walking until we’re kicked out at 3am. Check out her amazing mix on Soundcloud, recorded live at Hardcore Energy vs Super Sonic Booty Bangers at XOYO in July.
Our third booking is a firm favourite of the special event crew – JimJam! Top spinner of garage/bass and serious collector of vinyl, he’s been livening up club nights and free parties across the south-east with two step and bass since dubstep was barely a thing and the word lockdown made us think of banging speed garage (look up 187 Lockdown if u need to know!). He’s promised a high energy set that’ll take us through the heaviest new school garage and beyond. If anyone’s been listening to the scene these past couple of years, you’ll have heard a new generation of producers refreshing the sound we know and love and blending it with a host of other influences to make it their own. It’s the sh*t! So super hyped to for the chance to now hear this stuff through a sound system and get those subs vibrating :):)
In no particular order, we’re also pleased to announce Agility and Tom___Os!
Agility is a student at Canterbury where he runs the DJ Society and puts on the multi-genre party,
Sounds of the Underground. We’ve been wanting to make a connection there for a while so super
pleased. His main love is jungle – check his SoundCloud for some serious mixes – but he’s also got a
growing collection of “ravey breaks and garage” that he’s itching to play out and we’re more than
happy to provide the opportunity! Once, again, super pleased to have him down (across?) and
massive respect for keeping the party alive in Canterbury!
Tom______Os is a new alias of Chong, a pal of Agility and fellow (ex) student at Canterbury. Now
back in his home town of Reading, but still travelling down regularly to play at various events in the
area, he’s a great producer, DJ and part of Abatement Soundsystem. Expect another high energy
multi genre set, new dubs and loads of fun!
As usual, we've also arranged a late license at the Music Hall so we can dance till 3am, and doors will
open around 8.30 so you get coats in the cloak room and drinks from the bar before the music kicks
off at 9.
See you all soon!!
