Our aim at Sunshine Ocean Records is to pioneer the way for local musicians/bands that are out there creating original music, to have a place to be seen and heard, loved and celebrated.

We are looking for new and original artists all the time for a calendar of future events, so we encourage you to leave us your details and demo’s if you would like to work with us. We want to put our local originals acts on the UK scene.
With connections to many venues across the UK, we aim to put the artist/band in front of an already established audience, starting with our much loved small venues and leading to larger venues and festivals as well.
We understand the challenges original artists face trying to get out there. We want to put Thanet artists in front of a wider audience and show the UK that this corner of the map is one not to overlook.

Taking to the stage will be our main acts on the books with Sunshine Ocean already – Luke J Dorman, as seen on EastEnders last year, he is no stranger to the festivals circuit. His music has been compared to the Stereophonics in style with a pinch of folk, indie & rock all rolled into one. Catchy hooks, great lyrics and a band backing him to boot, all of whom are great local musicians. Be sure to check out his recently released debut album ‘PURE’ – out now.
Also headlining this event is local talent, The SuperMicks, who are a new band on the scene. With their original tone and unique style, TSM will be launching their new single release of ‘We Don’t Need Work’ at this event. And be sure to check out their previous release ‘HomeTown’ which is streaming daily across multiple Worldwide Radio shows at this very moment in time. These guys have the most incredible original sound likened to bands such as Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon with a twist of blues and country mixed in there.
Expect this to be an incredible evening of great local music and a chance for local musicians and bands to network and come and join the roster at Sunshine Ocean.
