Join poet/singer-songwriter Gabriel Moreno and singer-songwriter Jason McNiff for a night of poetry in music as they pay homage to the great General of song, Leonard Cohen.
McNiff and Moreno will be performing a selection of compelling Cohen numbers plus a series of their own songs which pay tribute to Cohen’s magical formula of merging poetry and music.
Jason McNiff has made 8 albums of country tinged folk music. He has been described by Mojo as ‘One of the UK’s best secrets’ and by Janice Long on Radio 2 as an “Immense talent”.
Gabriel Moreno is a Gibraltarian poet and singer songwriter, resident in London. He has published numerous poetry books as well as four critically acclaimed albums. Described by Cerys Mathews of 6 Music as “An offshoot of Neil Diamond and Leonard Cohen”.
