Formed in early 2015 and fronted by songwriter/producer Pete Lambrou, VLMV released their debut album via Fierce Panda Records in August 2015, reaching Number 42 in the UK Independent Charts, and described by Lauren Laverne (BBC6 Music) as “a beam of light through a dark, cold night”, ‘Heart-achingly beautiful” by Prog Magazine, and “A shimmering soundscape of delicate ethereal beauty. Now signed to Erased Tapes Music, VLMV’s music has been heard on TV’s throughout the world, with high profile spots for Santander, The Grand Tour, The Champions League Final, Nike, Vice, MTV’s Teen Mom, and many more.
Live, VLMV is known for slow building solo loops with guitar, piano, voice and synths surrounded by homemade flickering lights – a delicate and immersive experience.
