AKadem

Kent’s rising indie rock five-piece aKadem are making serious noise with the release of their debut single ‘Hurricane’ which has been played by DJ Casey Dale on BBC Introducing Kent. In proper retro punk style the 7″ single was released on Red Vinyl as a limited edition of 100.All under 20 years old, the band bring a fearless energy and raw intensity that belies their age. Taking cues from Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, and Limp Bizkit, while nodding to Blur’s British edge and the guitar fire of Jimi Hendrix, aKadem deliver a sound that’s both urgent and refreshingly modern.

Quinn Bailey

Quinn Bailey makes music to mend the wounded soul. Drawing influence from post-punk and melodic shoegaze, her songs create a tentatively mellow soundscape, synergising distinctive pastel-rock with poetic lyricism.
