A dagger through the heart and a harsh, almost punk-like, critique on society. Intelligent, bleak, and mournful.” Nine Circles

In the world of heavy music, few bands embrace dynamics and negative space like KOWLOON WALLED CITY. Over their 18 year career, the band has increasingly refined its deconstructed approach to noise rock, math rock, and slowcore, landing them on stages with similar boundary-pushing bands like Neurosis, SUMAC, METZ, Thou, Yob, Sleep, and Young Widows.
The band has released 5 albums and numerous splits and collaborations on labels such as Neurot Recordings, Gilead Media, and Brutal Panda.

A stirring masterpiece that’ll be near impossible for any noise rock band out there today to top.” Chicago Reader
