SMOTE, once a solo endeavor by Daniel Foggin, now expanded to a fuller ensemble, blends traditional instrumentation — creaking strings, funeral drums, somber winds — with thunderous synth work and desolate guitar to craft drone and dirge.
Their newest album Songs from the Free House (Rocket Recordings 2025) confirms the band reputation as visionary seers building audial monuments by cranked amplification and atmospheric intensity alike.

After the last month sold out and acclaimed performances, the band added more available dates for their Spring 2026 UK tour.
